gleaves > Owen works on sawing down the tree. Because the tree was so much larger than the saw, he had to cut in sections around the tree.
gleaves > After the rope was secured in the tree, the other end was taken across the road and looped around a small tree. Then it was attached to Owen's tractor. When Owen had cut almost through the tree, George drove the tractor to pull the tree in the desired direction away from the grave stones.
gleaves > Whew! The tree is finally on the ground.
gleaves > Now that the tree is on the ground, the work continues to cut the tree into smaller pieces so it will be easier to drag to the brush pile.
gleaves > Still cutting. Notice the cedar wood.
gleaves > The tree is finally pulled off to the brush pile.
gleaves > Time to load up and go home.
